Wood stove is good for a budget. I've been running it for 3 months now.. paint is already starting to peel. My biggest concern is once the wood gets to a certain temperature there is no way to shut it down which can be very dangerous. I even installed a chimney damper and it has no effect when the secondary burners kick in. Not sure if mine is defective or not but this shouldn't be happening. Picture below is a good representation. The damper on the stove and the pipe are fully closed. Once the wood hits a certain temperature there is no stopping it untill it's been burnt down...
