Just had this unit installed and have used it for a week or so. We love it, keeps the front room 75 degrees after it's heated up and the rest of the house 65 degrees or so in a 2,100 sq ft home in Northern CA. Initial burn did produce a smell from the paint curing, but completely went away after the 1st burn. I noticed the fiberglass door sealant already has a big missing piece in it so will contact manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement shipped.
