A very good insert for the price. We replaced an old craft stove with an 1800i. Really happy with it, installation was fairly simple, as it was a replacement, and work such as removing the damper from the fireplace was already done. I would recommend purchasing the entire install kit package. We used the exact items, but purchased them separately. Seeing them flame through the glass door is also nice. The only issue I had was with the blower not activating correctly. You must make certain the sensor is lined up exactly. In our case, the tab was bent inward slightly, causing an improper alignment. Once corrected, it functions as it should. This unit does a nice job of keeping the house warm and offsetting a lot of the furnace use.
