Takes a long time to heat up in order for the blower to turn on. No on/off....only a thermostat sensor will turn on the fan. Intake on the blower rattles loudly...have to put a log or stone on top to quiet it. Blower is strong and unit heats up the family room and adjoining kitchen nicely.
