I purchased this stove a few months ago from Home Hardware in Saskatchewan. Great stove, HOWEVER the air intake on the front door is useless. It's far too small to sustain a fire in the stove with the door closed and the air intake all the way open it will simply burn out. I've seen other online reviews talking about the same problem with this stove as well as what appears to be another version of the door that has or had a much larger adjustable intake. I've called Drolet about this and they just deflect the issue and tell me the problem is my chimney which is perfectly fine Double Wall Stainless 6" and drafts excellent with sufficient intake air which their door cannot provide. Very unfortunate that this company does not stand behind its product and provide a solution for this. I guess I'll just fix it myself.Brian2022-12-18
Works well in my ice shack. Inconsistent heat due to split seem at bottom rest. Allows to much air Brian2022-12-16
Steel separated bottom left corner allowing to much air and to hot Otherwise worked great Paul2022-12-10
The stove works fine once you figure out the little things like pulling out the flame deflection plate to light the fire BUT its tacked ONLY on the corners so ashes and sparks come out on the floor or ground from the bottom sides. IT SHOULD BE WELDED. Not gaps and it gets worse when it starts to warp. The gap got bigger. Now I have to bring it home to get it weldedVictor2022-12-05
Overall I'm happy with it. Rather easy to assemble. Good size. Simple yet functional design. I can't wait to fire it up.
