The stove is good enough. The issue I have with this product surrounds the blower: quality issues, and design issues specifically. The blower I received has evidence of an electrical short prior to installation and when it’s running makes noise so loud that I’ve had to double to TV volume to drown out the sound. More on the design of the blower: this blower is supposed to be hung under the ash lip from a few clips, which came preinstalled. The issue is that the blower is temperature controlled using a thermostat, which is theoretically great, however the clips are hung too far forward to allow the temperature sensor to contact the stove housing. Without Gerry rigging a conductive solution, there is no way to bypass the temperature sensor. So I currently have aluminum foil wadded up between the blower and stove to create a contact patch. This is absolutely unacceptable for a new stove. I shouldn’t have to wedging rubber and foil around a blower for it to just be moderately functional.
